Third Wednesday Webinars
Apprenticeship Programs in Virginia
The ninth webinar in the monthly series took place on September 18, 2013.
The webinar is designed to inform you about how Virginia’s Department of Labor and Industry (DOLI) administrates the apprenticeship programs and how these programs benefit Virginia’s businesses and industries. You will learn about what makes up a "Registered Apprenticeship," and what are the "Apprenticable Occupations." You will hear about how companies can register to participate in and leverage apprenticeship programs. You will also be shown examples of how apprenticeship programs are making a difference in workforce readiness; enabling Virginia’s workers to have the skill sets that make the labor force among the best in the world.
