VEDP/Ally Meeting
The VEDP/Ally Meeting is held biannually as a mechanism for keeping communication lines open between regional and local economic developers and VEDP. Invitations are extended to all economic developers via e-mail. These meetings are held in various venues throughout Virginia. The next meeting will be held in Fall 2011. VEDP Orientation
The VEDP Orientation briefing is an opportunity to learn about the mission and operations of VEDP, to meet key staff members, and to see how VEDP's efforts can support your community's economic development activities. The briefings are held at VEDP, and invitations are sent to those new to economic development in Virginia. The next orientation is scheduled for March 14, 2012. Please contact for more information. Global Logistics Forum
The Global Logistics Forum provides seminar and lecture-style topics applicable to today's supply chain-oriented professionals. The group includes economic developers, consultants, real estate representatives, rail providers, third party warehouse providers, construction/developers and port representatives.
